My cousin is buying it for me opening day, he claimed. We shall see when I actually get it AND if I have to buy it myself. >_>

Awesome, I've been playing beta too and it is definitely starcraft-awesome. I just won 5 matches in a row, in fact.

For people who don't want to invest the energy to be a pro "korean" starcraft player, I think the single player campaign will also be awesome. At least they've been acting like it's something special! Of course beta is only multiplayer. I hear the Zerg game will have an RPG-centric campaign which is pretty cool. But it is somewhat odd that they are releasing it in three "games."

Probably make more money out of it that way.

(at the risk of sounding cynical )

More reaction to a thread about Starcraft II than to a Star Wars MMO *shakes head*

So much in common with GT5. Not that I'll be getting or playing either one; just noting the similarity - games that have been pending for... well, forever.

Well, because there's not much that needs to be said about a Star Wars MMO.

It will own our hearts and souls. No doubts. Except for the poor and wretched console-snared members of the board.

StarCraft, however, is at risk of getting drawn into the same narrative nightmare that WarCraft has.

Ohh. Yeahhhh I don't exactly play RTSs for the story. (So much so that I didn't even know what you were talking about, haha.)

Although, unlike Warcraft, Starcraft might actually have a good story. At least it has a pretty cool world. Protoss for the win.

Also Starcraft's music beats Warcraft's any day.

I shall not be getting it.

I shall be looking at getting the Star Wars MMO, however. Depending on various factors (such as current CPU RAM being pathetically outdated and low).

I will be getting StarCraft. However, about the time I do and am ready for mulitplayer, I'll probably be a victim of yet another Raktus Zerg rush that ends the game 2 minutes after it starts..

Good news for you, Omnae, Raktus says he's boycotting this one in protest of Activision being jerks. So I figure we have 2-3 months to get a leg up on him before his willpower fades and he buys it anyway. >_>

2-3 months? That's mighty optimistic.

And warcraft totally had a good story! I guess... I liked Jaina until the Wrath exp released... now she is annoying as all hell and there is no way to escape the wrath of her cheesy emo narratives.

See you on the battlefield...
